Ms. Kathleen Vojta was born in the Chicago-metropolitan-area,
and upon declaring to the soccer coach one spring afternoon, "I am
to be an artist, I can be a soccer player no longer!" decided to see
the world. In 1999 the World began at the University of Illinois in
Champaign-Urbana and extended to the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago, after which she studied at Chicago's City Colleges,
and still does from time to time.
Her work has been exhibited and collected throughout the world.
In San Francisco, you can find her paintings in the collection at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel on Fisherman's Warf, and her video
animations have been featured in Tiesto's d.j. backdrops in
Holland. She has extended into working with Drama Girls
mentoring program with Redmoon Theater, and the tutoring
program with The Heartland Alliance. Most recently she has
begun collaborations with Improv Everywhere, and launched an
inquiry into beauty at www.trubeu.org.
